Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take my insurance?

We are a cash-based, out-of-network provider. Most patients opt to pay via cash, credit card, HSA, or FSA.

However, you can opt to request a superbill from us to submit to submit to your insurance for partial reimbursement.

What makes Reactivation Physical Therapy & Wellness different from other physical therapy clinics?

The care you will receive from our providers is unparalleled to your typical in-network physical therapy experience.

Your physical therapist will never see more than one patient at the same time, pass you off to a volunteer/aide, or have you work through the same ‘cookie-cutter’ exercises week in and week out.

Your entire visit is spent 1:1 with our highly specialized Doctors of Physical Therapy where we will clearly outline the root factors contributing to your pain experience and lay out a game plan for a path to recovery.

Do I need a referral from my doctor to be seen by a Doctor of Physical Therapy?
No, in the state of California, anyone can receive physical therapy for 12 visits or 45 days (whichever comes first) without a referral from a doctor.
What should I expect during my first visit?

Every visit will be a 1:1 session with your Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Your first visit will be a 60-minute initial evaluation consistent with an extensive review of past medical history, movement screening, tests, measurements, hands-on interventions, and specific exercises to do at home to address your pain/movement dysfunction.

Plan to wear comfortable clothes you can move in!

How many times should I expect to be seen?

This depends on your specific situation, diagnosis, and goals. In most cases, we have you feeling significant improvement in a matter of 3-4 visits.

We strive to minimize the number of sessions you need by providing you with the tools, education, and understanding of how to recover to be better than you were before needing PT.

Recovering from an injury is never black and white; however, we look to provide you with a road map for your recovery through a customized, collaborative plan with one of our Doctors of Physical Therapy for long term success.

What should I expect to do between visits?

Physical therapy is a different approach than taking something like a pill or injection. We are looking to address your problem through bodily changes that take dedication, time, and consistency throughout each week.

You will be provided with exercises via video recordings to build movement patterns and increase your tolerance to movement.

You can contact your PT for any questions or guidance you need between visits.

What payment options are available?

We accept HSA, FSA, Visa, Master Card, AMEX, and Discover.
